IceCream Screen Recorder is a free application for capturing any on-screen activity and saving it as a video file or screenshot. Thanks to a number of powerful features, users can record the screen to create video tutorials, capture webcam, record games or streaming videos, take screenshots of a selected area. Password Protect Any Folder Without Any Software

In this tutorial i will show you interesting and usefull trick to password protect folder without using any software using batch file programming. This trick will work on all windows platform (Win XP, Win 7, Win 8, Win 10). Follow below tutorial to learn this trick.

1. Download Notepad File and Copy code given below into it. Click

  2. Save the notepad file as lock.bat (.bat is must)
   3. Now double click on lock.bat and a new folder will be created with name MyFolder
   4. Copy all your data you want to protect in that New folder
   5. Now double click on lock.bat and when command promp appears Type Y and press enter.
   6. Now MyFolder will be hidden from you view, to access that folde double click on lock.bat
   7. It will ask for password enter your password and done. (Default password is Geekysri)

To change the password replace Geekysri with  new password in the above code.

How To Further Secure ?

You might be thinking that anyone can access the password by opening that lock.bat file in Notepad or any other text editor. To make it more secure hide lock.bat in some secure location after following the above tutorial To access the secured file double click on lock.bat. I would suggest copying lock.bat file into Pendrive and copying it into your computer whenever you required to access to your protected files.

1) Right click on My Computer- on your computer, go to Properties.

2) The Advanced System Settings> Advanced> Settings- go to.

3) The next screen that appears, click on Advanced-.

4) Change in the Virtual Memory- click.

5) Next Automatically manage ... let's take a tick.

6) Choose where to your computer's C drive.

7) Recommended that the C drive-in from being used as much as MB RAM up to the amount that will be displayed.

8) whether there select Custom Size.

9) the Initial Size, Maximum Size are that both the hard disk you want to convert to in the RAM- from the type size MB.

10) Next click Set.

11) Finally, click OK.
